Dylai’r llywodraeth, yn unol â chyngor a gyhoeddwyd gan y CU ar fenywod mewn sefyllfaoedd gwrthdaro ac wedi gwrthdaro: (a) Ddelio â rhwystrau i gyfranogiad menywod mewn prosesau meithrin heddwch, yn cynnwys aflonyddu gan grwpiau parafilwrol, fel y nodwyd yn ymchwiliad 2014 gan y Grŵp Seneddol Hollbleidiol ar Fenywod, Heddwch a Diogelwch; (b) Warantu cyfranogiad menywod mewn mecanweithiau cyfiawnder trosiannol fel y sefydlwyd yn y drafft ar gyfer Bil Gogledd Iwerddon (Cytundeb Stormont House).


Argymhelliad gwreiddiol y CU

With reference to the Committee’s general recommendation No. 30 (2013) on women in conflict prevention, conflict and post-conflict situations, the Committee recommends that the State party take concrete measures to ensure the effective participation of women in post-conflict reconstruction and peacebuilding processes in Northern Ireland, in line with Security Council resolution 1325 (2000), including by: (a) Addressing the obstacles to their participation, including intimidation by paramilitary groups, as noted in the 2014 inquiry by the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Women, Peace and Security. (b) Guaranteeing women’s participation in the context of the transitional justice mechanisms envisaged in the draft Northern Ireland (Stormont House Agreement) Bill.
