Argymhelliad Cymreig clir

Dylai’r llywodraeth: (a) Neud mwy i annog merched i astudio pynciau a chyrsiau nad ydynt yn draddodiadol mewn gwyddoniaeth, technoleg, peirianneg a mathemateg; (b) Weithredu argymhellion blaenorol y Pwyllgor Menywod a Chydraddoldebau ar aflonyddu rhywiol menywod a merched mewn llefydd cyhoeddus; (c) Gyflwyno addysg ofynnol ar hawliau rhywiol ac atgynhyrchiol ar draws y Deyrnas Unedig, yn cynnwys ar faterion fel cysylltiadau rhywedd ac ymddygiad rhywiol; (d) Hyrwyddo addysg hawliau dynol mewn ysgolion, yn cynnwys ffocws ar hawliau merched a CEDAW.


Argymhelliad gwreiddiol y CU

The Committee recommends that the State party: (a) Strengthen efforts to encourage girls to pursue non-traditional subjects and take coordinated measures to encourage girls to take up courses in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. (b) Continue to implement the recommendations of the Women and Equalities Committee contained in the report of October 2018 on sexual harassment of women and girls in public places. (c) Take measures to introduce mandatory age-appropriate education on sexual and reproductive rights in school curricula, including issues such as gender relations and responsible sexual behaviour, throughout the State party. (d) Promote human rights education in schools which includes a focus on the empowerment of girls and the Convention.
