Government should: Allow treaty bodies to hear individual communications on alleged human rights violations in the UK, as in article 14 of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination; remove the reservation on article 4 of the Convention.
Original UN recommendation
Accept the procedure for the submission of communications from individuals, provided for in article 14 of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination and withdraw its reservation to article 4 of the Convention (Côte d’Ivoire).
