Government should: Within one year, give an update on plans to implement the UN’s recommendations on accountability for conflict-related violations in Northern Ireland, and on human rights violations committed by British forces abroad.
Original UN recommendation
In accordance with rule 71, paragraph 5, of the Committee’s rules of procedure, the State party should provide, within one year, relevant information on its implementation of the Committee’s recommendations made in paragraphs 8 (accountability for conflict-related violations in Northern Ireland) and 9 (accountability for human rights violations committed by British forces abroad) above.
