Government should: Consider allowing people who feel their rights have been breached to take complaints to the UN by ratifying the outstanding optional protocols to core human rights treaties/ accepting the relevant treaty provisions.

Further consider its position on accepting the right of individual petition to the United Nations beyond the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (Mozambique).
