Government should: Work with parliamentarians, human rights institutions and civil society organisations to better protect ethnic and religious minorities, refugees and migrants from hate speech and hate crime. Give these groups greater legal protection.
Original UN recommendation
That the United Kingdom Government, parliamentarians, human rights institutions and civil society organizations continue to work closely together in order to ensure that vulnerable groups such as ethnic and religious minorities, refugees and migrants are better protected against hate speech and hate-related crime and that they are provided with greater certainty and legal protection (Thailand).
