Government should: Stop using financial sanctions and other similar measures which are not in line with international law and the Charter of the UN and which negatively affect human rights; promote international cooperation for development, and do not put pressure on the governments of other countries.


Original UN recommendation

Refrain from the practice of the use of unilateral coercive measures which are contrary to international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and which have a negative impact on the enjoyment of human rights, as well as use available resources to promote international cooperation for development, and not put pressure on the governments of other countries (Belarus).
