Argymhelliad Cymreig clir
Dylai’r llywodraeth: (a) Gryfhau capasiti Swyddfa Cydraddoldeb y Llywodraeth fel y gall ddarparu arweinyddiaeth genedlaethol ar hawliau menywod; (b) Ystyried sefydlu corff trosolwg ar gyfer cydlynu a monitro sut y gweithredir y Confensiwn, yn cynnwys mewnbwn sefydliadau hawliau dynol a sefydliadau menywod; (c) Ddatblygu strategaeth i sicrhau bod y Confensiwn yn cael ei weithredu ar draws y Deyrnas Unedig; (d) Gasglu a chyhoeddi data yn ôl rhyw, rhywedd, ethnigrwydd, anabledd ac oed ar draws y Deyrnas Unedig a’i thiriogaethau i gefnogi llunio polisïau ac effaith y camau sydd eisoes wedi eu cymryd.
Argymhelliad gwreiddiol y CU
The Committee recommends that the State party: (a) Continue to take measures to strengthen the capacity of the Government Equalities Office to function as an effective national machinery for the advancement of women. (b) Consider establishing a national oversight mechanism to coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Convention, with the effective participation of its national human rights institutions and women’s organizations. (c) Develop and adopt a unified, comprehensive and overarching national strategy for the implementation of the Convention throughout the whole of its territory. (d) Systematically collect and publish data disaggregated by sex, gender, ethnicity, disability and age throughout the whole of its territory to inform policy-making and assess the impact of measures taken.
