Dylai’r llywodraeth: (a) Fabwysiadu mewn cyfraith y diffiniad a gytunwyd yn rhyngwladol o fasnachu mewn pobl, fel y sefydlwyd ym Mhrotocol Palermo; (b) Weithredu strategaeth ryngwladol a chenedlaethol i atal masnachu mewn menywod a merched; (c) Barhau i wella’r modd mae dioddefwyr masnachu mewn pobl yn cael eu hadnabod, diogelu a chefnogi.

The Committee recommends that the State party: (a) Ensure that the definition of human trafficking in its domestic legislation is in line with the internationally agreed definition as set out in the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children, supplementing the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (the Palermo Protocol). (b) Adopt a comprehensive national strategy to combat trafficking in women and girls, as previously recommended. (c) Continue to improve the National Referral Mechanism, including by implementing the reform package announced in October 2017, to ensure that victims of trafficking are properly identified and adequately protected and supported.
