Dylai’r llywodraeth: Ymchwilio i’r nifer anghymesur o bobl dduon a phobl o leiafrifoedd ethnig o fewn y system cyfiawnder trosedd ar draws y Deyrnas Unedig. Cymryd camau pendant i derfynu rhagfarn a thuedd hiliol yn y system cyfiawnder troseddol, yn unol â chyngor y Cenhedloedd Unedig ar atal gwahaniaethu hiliol yn y system cyfiawnder troseddol.
Original UN recommendation
The Committee recommends that the State party ensure that the overrepresentation of black people and people belonging to ethnic minority groups at all stages of the criminal justice system in England, Northern Ireland and Wales is thoroughly investigated, and that it take concrete measures to effectively address racial prejudice and bias in the criminal justice system, taking into account the Committee’s general recommendation No. 31 (2005) on the prevention of racial discrimination in the administration and functioning of the criminal justice system.
