Dylai’r Llywodraeth: (a) Sicrhau bod rhieni anabl yn cael y gefnogaeth maent angen i ofalu am eu plant, ac na ddefnyddir anabledd fel rheswm dros dynnu plant oddi wrth eu teuluoedd. (b) Sicrhau bod gan awdurdodau lleol ddyletswydd gyfreithiol i ariannu gwersi iaith arwyddion ar gyfer rhieni plant byddar.
Argymhelliad gwreiddiol y CU
The Committee recommends that the State party: (a) Ensure appropriate support for parents with disabilities to effectively fulfil their role as parents and ensure that disability is not used as a reason to place their children in care or remove them from the family home. (b) Ensure that local authorities have the legal duty to allocate and provide funds for parents wishing to learn sign language.
