Dylai’r Llywodraeth:
Gymryd pob cam angenrheidiol, gan gynnwys adolygu a diwygio Deddf yr Heddlu, Troseddu, Dedfrydu a Llysoedd 2022 a Deddf Trefn Gyhoeddus 2023, i sicrhau bod yr hawl i ymgynnull yn heddychlon yn cael ei harfer heb wahaniaethu. Dylai awdurdodau ymchwilio i bob honiad o rym gormodol a ddefnyddir gan yr heddlu mewn protestiadau heddychlon. Dylent gosbi’r rhai a geir yn euog.
Original UN recommendation
The Committee recommends that the State party take all measures necessary to ensure the exercise of the right to freedom of peaceful assembly without any discrimination, including by reviewing and amending the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 and the Public Order Act 2023. It also recommends that the State party ensure that all allegations of excessive use of force during peaceful protests by law enforcement officers are investigated, prosecuted as appropriate and duly sanctioned.
